I have been looking online for the longest trying to find the proper at home business to start…or at least generate a decent amount of income from the internet. The paid surveys suck…but it seems to be money to be made when it comes to these banner exchange and link exchange programs. Does anyone have any information for me? Should I pay to build a website that is strictly for listing different banner exchanges and link exchanges? It seems profitable. Or does anyone have any suggestions for a work from home opportunity that is not a scam? Thank you.
in order for bannners to work for you ,you need a certain amout of hits on your site
if you get less then 50 hits a month on your site banners are not going to help
if thats the case you would be better off making flyers about your site
in some cases you still have to do the old fashion leg work
or perhaps put an add in the paper about your site
its difficult when first starting
I have never had any luck doing anything online
its much better to connect with people,either through groups or friends
or conecting with a job fair or something like that

I have a great job and great opportunity to invest. I work at a college and bring home about $1450 a month. My housing is paid for by the school. I have an apartment on-campus and a meal plan during the year. Cable, internet, phone, electricty….all paid for. My car is paid for. My cc bills will be paid off this month. My only expenses are my cell phone bill and a $170/month payment for student loans (consolidated). I’m 30, working on my master’s, and would like to buy a house and start a family within the next 5-10 years. I’m also worried about starting late in life saving for retirement. So, what should I do with the money? I have a savings account. I have about $500 in I-bonds. The school also puts in 4% of my salary into an retirement account and will match up to 7%. Should I do that? More bonds? Focus on the savings account? Roth or Traditional IRA (confused on which would be best for me)? Pay off my student loans first? Invest in gold? – dad’s suggestion

And if people push such a job and start talking about referring your friends to do it too – another sign of a guaranteed scam/pyramid scheme.

I currently work from home for a telemarketing company. However, I would like to add to my work load and income. Typically with these questions, all you get is spam. There are telecommuting jobs that some major companies offer, but you’ll only find them through a traditional employer.
I can’t say if all of these online jobs are scams or not, but it seems like every one I’ve tried ended up either wanting money up front (which legit jobs NEVER ask for) or they end up never paying for services rendered.
**In fact, I got a check a month or so ago from one of the survey companies I tried a while back. Upon cashing it at the bank, it was linked to a FRAUD ALERT and they would not cash the check!!!**
Proceed with caution with these jobs and if you don’t want to do 9-5, consider other unique possibilities. Maybe you could clean houses (which can pay upwards of $60-$100 daily), babysit/pet sit, do lawn maintenance, or other jobs out of your home. My 16-year-old nephew even started a graphic design business out of his house and makes pretty decent money.
The great thing is these jobs pay cash up front and give you a flexible schedule. Network with your family, friends, and neighbors and you’ll have work lined up in no time.
